Free piano plugins can be a bit of a gamble.

Some sound beautiful, some sound expensive, and some sound like they were recorded on a school keyboard that’s been left in a loft since 2007.

So for this video, I went through a load of free piano plugins and libraries to find some of the best ones you can download right now.

A soft, elegant piano from Vienna Symphonic Library. Great for emotional, cinematic, and gentle piano parts.

2. Heavyocity Foundations Piano
A cinematic free piano with a moody, atmospheric sound. Perfect for darker beats, film score ideas, and emotional melodies.

3. Fracture Sounds Blueprint: Epic Grand
A huge cinematic piano that sounds dramatic straight away. This one is great for big intros, trailers, and emotional moments.
