Step 1: Download Native Access

Step 3: Add Your Library

  • For libraries purchased from Native Instruments or officially licensed partners, you should find your library ready to install in the Not Installed tab. Click Install next to your library.
  • If your library is a third-party Kontakt library (not requiring Native Access for installation), skip to Step 5.

Step 4: Install Your Library

  • After clicking Install, Native Access will automatically download and install your library. Once installed, it will appear in the Installed Products tab.

Step 5: Adding Third-Party Libraries

  • Open Kontakt 7 within your DAW or as a standalone application.
  • Go to the Libraries tab in Kontakt.
  • Click on Add Library for Kontakt Player libraries or use the Files tab for non-Player libraries. For Player libraries, a window will prompt you to locate the library folder on your computer. Select the folder and confirm.

Step 6: Activate Your Library (If Required)

  • Some libraries require activation. If so, return to Native Access, where you'll see the library listed under the Not Installed tab or the specific product tab. Click Add Serial, enter your serial number, and then click Add Library to activate it.

Step 7: Load Your Library in Kontakt

  • Once your library is added and activated (if necessary), you can access it from the Libraries tab in Kontakt 7. Simply click on the library, and you'll see the available instruments and samples.

Step 8: Enjoy Your New Sounds

  • Double-click on an instrument to load it into Kontakt’s interface. You’re now ready to start creating with your new sounds!

Additional Tips:

  • Ensure your Kontakt 7 and Native Access are up to date to avoid any installation issues.
  • For third-party libraries that don't appear in the Libraries tab, you can still load them through the Files or Quick Load sections of Kontakt.
  • Remember to regularly back up your libraries and projects.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully install and enjoy your Kontakt 7 libraries, whether they're from Native Instruments or third-party developers.
