The Best New FREE VST Plugins & Deals

Another week, another load of free plugins and deals — and this one has some seriously good stuff.

We’ve got vintage mixing plugins, free drum machines, granular instruments, reverbs, saturation, channel strips, bass instruments and some massive limited-time deals.

1. Pedal Bass – The Crow Hill Company

Crow Hill is back with another unusual instrument, this time focusing entirely on the pedal bass section of a vintage Hammond organ.

It was recorded through a Leslie cabinet at Castlesound Studios and gives you that big, round, sine-heavy low end that normally gets overlooked in sampled organ instruments.

2. Relic – RiverFlux Audio

Relic might be one of the biggest freebies in this week's video because this is actually a collection of 12 separate plugins.

You get five compressors, five EQs and two tape machines inspired by classic studio hardware, covering everything from vocals and drums through to buses and mastering.

And yes — you can currently grab the entire collection for free.

3. RC909 Pro – SampleScience

RC909 Pro is an expanded take on the classic 909 drum-machine sound with the original kit plus a load of processed variations.

There are 19 kit variations processed through tape, amps, cassette-style effects and digital hardware, plus distortion, delay, reverb, filtering and even vinyl and tape-noise controls.

4. DeepStereo Reverb Lite – LESON

DeepStereo Reverb Lite takes a different approach to reverb by letting you position the reverb itself around the listener rather than just adding a normal stereo wash.

You can control the width, elevation and position of the space, making it useful for normal stereo production as well as more immersive headphone mixes.

Normally $19.99 — currently FREE for a limited time.

5. GRNi Lite – FRCTL Audio

GRNi Lite is a free granular sampler where you can drop in any sample and instantly turn it into a playable instrument.

Each note creates its own cloud of grains, while Density and Size let you move from glitchy little fragments into smoother evolving pads and textures.

It's permanently free and doesn't even require an account or email address.

6. Heater v2 – NoiseAsh

Heater v2 is an analogue-style saturation and tone-shaping plugin designed for adding warmth, weight and grit to otherwise clean digital sounds.

It includes two saturation circuits, analogue-style EQ models, filtering, stereo widening and dry/wet control, so you can go from subtle warmth to much more aggressive processing.

Normally valued at $129 — currently FREE for a limited time.

7. Camel Strip – Safari Audio

Camel Strip is a vintage-inspired channel strip combining three compressors, three EQs, a gate, input drive and built-in spring and plate reverbs.

It’s basically designed to give you a full analogue-style processing chain inside one plugin rather than loading five different effects.

100% OFF CODE: BPB100OFF

8. Nyx – Arswerk

Nyx is a harmonic reverb designed for going beyond normal room and hall sounds and creating more musical, tonal spaces.

It’s one for producers who want their reverb to become part of the sound design rather than just sitting behind the original signal.

9. MODO BASS 2 – IK Multimedia

MODO BASS 2 is IK Multimedia's physically modelled bass instrument, designed to recreate the behaviour of real electric and upright basses rather than relying entirely on traditional samples.

It gives you a huge amount of control over the instrument, playing style and performance, making it useful when you need a realistic bass part without recording an actual bassist.

10. Roland Plugins at Plugin Boutique

Plugin Boutique now has a huge selection of official Roland instruments and effects covering classic synths, drum machines, SRX instruments and effects.

That includes names like the TR-808, SYSTEM-8, SH-2, JX-3P, SRX libraries and plenty more.

11. Plugin Boutique – Analogue Emulations Month

Plugin Boutique is also running its Analogue Emulations Month sale, with discounts on Audified plugins throughout October.

If you're into vintage-style processing, saturation and analogue-inspired effects, this one is worth having a look through.

12. 8Dio All Epic Ensemble Collection

If you're into cinematic music, 8Dio currently has a massive Epic Ensemble bundle covering orchestral, choir, percussion and hybrid sounds.

The bundle includes libraries such as Majestica Ultra, Lacrimosa Pro, Insolidus Choir, Silka Choir and the Epic Drums collection.

The collection is currently listed at $149 compared with a combined listed value of over $3,500.

13. Splice INSTRUMENT

Splice INSTRUMENT is still one of the easiest free instruments to recommend because you can download the plugin for free and keep adding new sounds through Splice's regular Free Drops.

The full platform now covers more than 1,400 presets across pianos, synths, 808s, guitars, orchestral sounds and more, with Spitfire LABS and Originals content also available inside the instrument.
